Attorney Kimberly Carpenter
Kimberly Carpenter has represented hundreds of injured workers in workers’ compensation cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and represented thousands of clients before the North Carolina state civil courts, Federal District Court, and Cherokee Tribal Court since she began practicing law in 1996. Of these thousands of cases, she has and continues to represent injured individuals, governmental entities, banking institutions and other businesses who find themselves in need of assistance to recover for wrongful acts committed against them.

Kim is extremely involved in her community as an elected member of the Swain County Board of Education and serves on a number of other local civic and service-oriented boards. She is also a volunteer and actively involved in youth programs of her church. Kim is, and has been for a number of years, a volunteer coach for the mock trial team of the school where her children attend. It is exciting and rewarding for her to help teach and mold future lawyers as they learn the importance of and an appreciation for our justice system. Kim finds immense joy and purpose in being actively involved in the lives and activities of her children, Alec and Madeline.
